How to play

Casual beach play:

Bocce hole rules are designed to be fun and easy to follow. If a rule doesn't work for you, feel free to change it for your own game!

Setup:

  1. Place rings flat, 10 paces apart
  2. Dig hole in center of each ring using provided scoops

Scoring:
1 point - ball hits ring
3 points - ball drops in hole

Gameplay:
Players alternate turns rolling/ tossing toward opposite ring

Switch sides at 10 points (ensures fairness due to varied sand conditions)

Note: Two single players use one ball. Four players (2 teams of 2) use two balls.

Game Tips:

  • Firm sand: slow roll, like bocce
  • Soft sand: toss & roll, like cornhole Slopes: aim higher and let gravity pull the ball down
  • Novice help: Place taller backstop side up and/or step one pace closer.
